 Promoting healthy hearts.
Maryland based IQ Solutions commissioned Fresh Concentrate's Ramon Gil to illustrate a health manual for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI). The project involved producing over 100 different illustrations with extensive research into Filipino lifestyles and cuisine.
NHLBI has been creating ethnic-specific publications to help promote healthy eating habits and lifestyles, having already produced manuals for Latinos and African Americans.
To btter reach the Filipino community, Ramon was chosen for this project because of his expertise in eating Filipino food which he has been doing all his life.
